Who's eligible to vote?

REALTOR® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® members in good standing as of May 16, 2018 are able to participate in the elections.


What's on the ballot?

Members will be voting for the 2019 HBR Directors and a proposed bylaws amendment.


Who are the candidates for 2019 Honolulu Board of REALTORS® Directors?

Director- at-Large (4 to be elected for a 3-year term):

Lorraine Fukumae, Shannon Heaven, Barbie Hee, Derek Lau, and Mark Stewart

Metro Regional Director (1 to be elected for a 2-year term):

Ron Hamic and Aaron Tangonan

Windward/North Shore Regional Director (1 to be elected for a 2-year term):

Sue Alden and Shannon Among


When is the election period?

Members will be able to vote from May 25 to June 15, 2018 (9:00 a.m.)


How do I cast my ballot?

Members can vote one of two ways:

  1. Vote online - You will need your HiCentral.com member site user name & password - the same login used to register for HBR classes/forums, where user name is your first and last name. Forgot your login and/or password? Click the "Forgot Password" link here and enter your email address on file with HBR to have your login & password emailed to you or contact HBR Customer Service at 732-3000. You can also use the Help menu on the voting website to request your voting credentials.  
  2. Request a paper ballot by June 8 - members must complete an application to request a paper ballot. The completed paper ballot must be returned and received by the Board office by June 15, 2018. No paper ballots will be opened prior to the ballot receipt deadline. Email [email protected] to request an application for paper ballot.


When will the 2019 Board of Directors be announced?

The 2019 Board of Directors will be announced via email on Monday, June 18, 2018.
