Resources and Ways to Help Maui

Updated: Sep. 8, 2023

Maui residents displaced from their homes by the devastating wildfires have many immediate and long-term needs. In times of crisis, we must act with aloha. Our community of REALTORS® and industry partners are good neighbors and there are many ways to help. >> How your REALTOR® associations are helping

Here we have consolidated the resources available through the REALTOR® association community and reputable Hawai'i nonprofit organizations that directly aid the Maui relief effort to help you determine where to direct your support.

FRAUD TIP: If you give to the Maui relief effort, use caution when choosing where you donate.

  • Best practice: Donate directly via a trusted, reputable organization's official website and donation portal such as HI-EMA approved donors for Maui fire relief and those provided below.
  • Beware of fake charity websites created by scammers seeking to take advantage of people's generosity. Search for the charity at Charity Navigator to verify. Additional resources here (State of Hawaii Tax & Charities Division).
