We know 2024 is proving to be a challenging year, with the NAR settlement shaking things up alongside high interest rates and inflation, causing everyone to be more mindful about where they spend their money. As your MLS, we are acutely aware of the current market and will continuously work to ensure we are doing what’s in the best interest of our Participants and Subscribers. 

Your MLS participation fees will remain the same for the year beginning July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, a price that has remained unchanged since 2010 for one of your most valuable tools and a mainstay of your business. Ways your MLS subscription dollars work for you - included services and benefits

Your invoice will include Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) on the current MLS participation fees for the term July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025. The GET amount will appear as a separate line item (as "Tax" or “GE Tax”) on MLS invoices. Annual MLS Fees are due by June 30, 2024. Note: Payment of MLS fees is nonrefundable.

Payment deadline 

Your payment must be received (not postmarked) by HiCentral MLS, Ltd. by June 30, 2024. Payments received after this date will be assessed a $50 late fee. Pay online 24/7 here.  

What if I'm a Designated REALTOR® or Broker in Charge?

Designated REALTORS® are ultimately responsible for the payment of MLS fees and related charges for all affiliated licensees. Unpaid fees may result in the suspension of your entire firm’s MLS service. Your office’s MLS subscription is automatically renewed, and fees are owed unless you inform us in writing that you wish to cancel your participation in HiCentral MLS. 

Note: A MLS Certification form will not be required for the renewal period.

Services and benefits included with your MLS subscription 
Your subscription not only means Matrix access. The MLS is comprised of eleven different programs - RPR, Remine, ZipForms, and InfoSparks, to name a few. While these programs vary from listing searches, creating professional reports and farming campaigns, tour and document managing, and tracking market trends, these programs collectively provide resources for successful real estate professionals.  

Here are other services your MLS membership provides:

  • Lockbox Lending Program: Need a lockbox for your listing or rental? Borrow one without worrying about storage or maintenance. This program is inclusive of your membership, so it is FREE.
  • MLS Classes: These classes are designed to assist you with the proficiency of the various MLS programs and is included in your membership so there are no out-of-pocket costs.
  • Compliance: MLS governance helps to ensure consumer confidence in the marketplace and adherence of the rules and regulations. Learn about the MLS policies through the MLS rules and regulations classes, held twice monthly and free to members.
  • Technical Support: Get help via e-mail, phone, or chat from our MLS client care team.  Plus, our Knowledge Base, an interactive library of step-by-step articles allows members to find solutions to MLS actions, especially after-hours.  This service is inclusive of your membership.
  • IDX (Internet Data Exchange): Facilitates the ability for firms or individual agents to promote and syndicate MLS information to outside websites.
  • Reciprocal MLS Listings: As a HiCentral MLS member, you can add your listings in the other State of Hawaii MLSs for maximum exposure.  Add your listing (for a nominal fee) to Hawaii Information Service (H.I.S.) and Realtors Association of Maui (R.A.M.)
  • Access to other MLSs: Members can access the California Regional MLS and Data Co-Op for Maui within Matrix, under the links menu. Additionally, RPR provides MLS information for all 50 states so if you find yourself needing to research prices or trends in Oklahoma, you can do that!
  • Zipforms: One of the most important programs which allows you to quickly & efficiently write up contracts, addendums, and documents that is at the core of your business.
  • Realist: Gives you access to current and historical public information that allows you to better educate yourself, and your clients on historical sales, financing history,  valuation, ownership info, and a litany of other essential facts that enable you to make sound decisions with your clients.

How to Pay MLS Participation Fees

ONLINE: Go to www.hicentral.com/register. We accept American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, and VISA.

BY PHONE: Call 808-732-3000, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday (excluding holidays + the day of Summer GMM) to pay by credit/debit card.

BY MAIL: Make checks payable to HiCentral MLS, Ltd. Mail your check to HiCentral MLS, Ltd., Attn: Finance, 1136 12th Ave., Ste. 200, Honolulu, HI 96816. There will be a $20 handling fee on all returned checks.

  • If you are paying for yourself, write your name and member number on your check, and include a copy of your invoice (to print your invoice: first, click on your invoice number to open up the Invoice Details screen, then click the “Print” button towards the bottom of the screen).
  • If you are paying for multiple agents, please include the Payment Form reflecting all of your agents' names and member numbers, along with your check payment (download and print Payment Form for multiple agents from the Invoice Details screen).
