100 ACTS COMMITTEE
We want REALTORS to celebrate and get involved with us during our 100th Year! Create ways to engage our diverse membership throughout the year through various "100 acts" whether it's challenging them to do 100 acts of kindness, acts of volunteerism, etc.

Needs:
Share a Pair Footwear Donation Drive: Bring new slippers or shoes for school-aged keiki (kindergarten to high school) to a Regional Meeting in July-August. Donations will be distributed to a Boys & Girls Club in your region and North Shore schools.
Activity:
Spread gratitude to those who help build community Help us spread 10,000 Mahalo Cards in our communities: Members can pick up a set of mahalo postcards from the following locations. Additional Lock Box Lending Program distribution office locations to come!

About the #HBRmahalo Challenge: Community recipients of these postcards and the members who gave them will be eligible to win prizes in our weekly drawings to win gift cards for restaurants, coffee, and groceries so we can further support local businesses.
Here's what you need to do:
Take a photo with someone who has received your card -- make sure the card is in the photo!
Post the photo on your social media – to ensure that we’ll see the posts, follow these steps:
Write a social media caption that includes 1) the name of your recipient and 2) one reason why you’re grateful to them
Follow HBR on social media if you’re not already doing so
That's it! We'll enter both names in our weekly drawings to win gift cards.
HISTORY COMMITTEE
Identify the most important aspects from the last 100 years and how to gather/capture photos and stories from the last 100 years. Determine the best ways to document and share the history of HBR.

Needs:
Your knowledge of the history of unique neighborhoods or unique homes on O'ahu
Names of members with a rich history of contributions to our industry whether in their business or as a volunteer
Historical photos, videos, or items that you can share to help us document the last 100 years with a trip down memory lane, e.g., anyone still have a copy of the one-page DROA form or other old real estate forms anywhere?
Collaborate with our History Committee to help showcase the important people and stories from the past 100 years through podcasts/interviews. Bridge the generations of trailblazers and new members; family connections; mentor/mentees; and unique real estate stories.

HBR Legacy Podcast connects and engages our members with stories that highlight our rich history and impact in the industry and community, as well as inspire members to carry the legacy forward.

Discussions will include topics such as: Housing Initiatives (what is HBRs role?; work together with policymakers); Going Green; DEI (how do we incorporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the next 100 years?).
