Effective March 28, 2022, under City Ordinance 22-6 Relating to STR, sellers are obligated to disclose to the buyer whether or not the residential property being sold may be used legally as a short-term rental. Effective May 1, 2022, changes in the Seller's Real Property Disclosure Statement (SRPDS) from Act 179 now include new sea level rise disclosure requirements. If a seller’s residential property is determined to lie within a special flood hazard area or sea level rise exposure area, it must be disclosed to the buyer.
