About the new nomination portal

What is the URL for the new nomination portal (launched in February 2026)?

The new website portal for awards nominations is http://awards.hicentral.com. Please be sure to update any bookmarks you previously set for the former website to this new URL. 

What can REALTORS® and clients expect from the new portal?

There are some new convenient features that users should find useful.

No account login required: Your clients no longer need to create an account or log in to submit their nomination, as was required in the previous nomination portal.

Direct link to your transaction nomination page: You can now send each client a direct link to the nomination page that corresponds with their property transaction.

Here’s how:

  1. Get started here.
  2. Type your last name in the Find REALTOR® box, then “Select” your profile.
  3. A list of your eligible transactions appears. Clicking “Select” on any of your transactions brings up the nomination page for that transaction.
  4. Copy the nomination page URL at the top of your web browser and send it to the corresponding client. You can include the URL in the client communication template to ask clients to provide an award-worthy nomination for you.

Can I be nominated for managing a rental?

Yes. We have heard our members' feedback and have included an award category for property managers. The client nomination may come from either the renter/tenant or the landlord/property owner (unless the REALTOR®/property manager is the landlord/owner). Questions? Please email [email protected].


How will I know if I have been nominated?

Both the nominator (client) and the nominee (REALTOR®) will receive a confirmation email from [email protected] once a successfully submitted online nomination has been verified/approved by HBR staff. The confirmation email will include a copy of the client's nomination testimony.

If you believe your client submitted a nomination, but you did not receive an email confirmation:

1. First, please search your inbox for an email message from [email protected]. The message likely landed in your junk folder or promotions tab. 

2. We suggest you follow up with your client. It's possible your client started the nomination but didn't submit it. If your client requires further assistance, please ask them to call HBR Customer Service at 808.732.3000, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (HST), excluding holidays.

3. Your client's nomination may be incomplete, for example, if it is missing required information. HBR staff will follow up with the client or the agent. 


What information will my client need to complete the online nomination?

HBR has created a template that you may use when asking your client to nominate you for the Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Awards Program™.

The client will need:

  • Link to the online submission website*
  • Your name
  • The property address and transaction closing date

Can spouses submit separate nominations for the same REALTOR® for the same transaction?

No, the buyer’s agent is allowed one nomination per transaction, and the seller’s agent is allowed one nomination per transaction. Multiple nominations for the same transaction, including those for the buyer’s or seller's agent or property manager, will not be processed for the judges' review.


Whom should my clients contact for technical assistance with completing the online nomination? 

Your client may call HBR's Customer Service at 808.732.3000, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (HST), excluding holidays.

For the best browser experience, we recommend that clients use Google Chrome to complete the online nomination.


May my client email or mail a nomination form to HBR?

No, only online nominations will be accepted. The client may send the nomination form to a REALTOR® member, who must then submit it online on their client's behalf.


What if my client does not have a computer or Internet access?

If your client does not have a computer or Internet access, follow these steps:

  1. Call HBR Customer Service at 808.732.3000 to request a paper form and instructions. Then, have your client complete the required information and sign the form.
  2. The REALTOR® (nominee) will then be responsible for receiving the completed form from their client and submitting the information to HBR's online submission system.
  3. To submit a paper form on behalf of a client, the  REALTOR® (nominee) will need to upload a PDF or image file (.jpg) of the paper nomination form to the online system using the "I am a REALTOR®, submitting a nomination on behalf of my client" button on the transaction nomination webpage. All nominations must be submitted via the online submission system. HBR staff will contact nominators (clients) to confirm their nominations and submissions on behalf of their nominees (REALTOR® members).
